This important message, that early detection (of prostate cancer) saves lives, was repeated over and over at a ceremony at the September 26, 2023, meeting of the Orange County Board of Supervisors. Supervisor Doug Chaffee, in whose district Prostate Forum was started some thirty years ago, spoke ardently, from personal experience, about the need for men to be tested early and commended the Prostate Forum for their ongoing support efforts.

At the invitation of Mr. Chaffee, Prostate Forum board members Neal Berke, Dr. Charles Metzger, Ira Kaget, and Brian McEvoy attended the meeting, where the work of the Prostate Forum of Orange County was recognized in a resolution of the Board of Supervisors.
