Osama Mohamad

<p class="font_9">Osama&nbsp;Mohamad,&nbsp;MD,&nbsp;PhD</p>

UCSF Health Prostate Cancer Center

Dr. Osama Mohamad, an honors graduate of the American University of Beirut, in Beirut, Lebanon in 2006,  earned his MD PhD at Emory University in Atlanta. He continued training and research at the University of Hawaii, the University of Texas Southwestern (UTSW) Medical Center, in Dallas, and as a research fellow at the National Institute of Radiological Sciences in Japan studying carbon ion radiotherapy for prostate cancer. Over his years in training, he received many awards including the resident of the year award and the RSNA Roentgen research award during his chief resident year at UTSW. He presented his research at multiple national and international meetings and has published over 45 publications.
