Dr. Mitchell E. Gross is a medical oncologist and translational cancer researcher specializing in prostate cancer. He holds dual training in medicine and molecular biology and currently serves as Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at USC’s Keck School of Medicine and Senior Director of the Clinical Translation Program at the Ellison Medical Institute. His research integrates genomic and proteomic methods to better understand prostate tumor behavior, resistance mechanisms, and novel therapeutic strategies. He leads and participates in multiple clinical trials, bridging laboratory insights with patient care in genitourinary oncology. In his clinical role, he provides medical oncology care and collaborates across academic centers, including USC, Ellison, and Cedars‑Sinai.
