An obsolescent medical imaging test that uses a small amount of radioactive material to look for cancer that has spread to the bones. Today, bone scans are rarely needed for most prostate cancer patients because newer, more accurate tests like PSMA PET scans are now preferred.

A medical imaging test that uses a small amount of radioactive material to look for cancer that has spread to the bones.
